Maggie is an Intern psychotherapist under the direct supervision of Maria Iraheta, and a student in the final year of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University.

She has worked in the mental health field for over twenty years. In her native country, Argentina, Maggie worked as a psychotherapist and psychologist, providing play therapy to children. Once in Canada, she worked with low-income and marginalized immigrants from visible minorities and oppressed families, integrating principles of equity, justice, non-discrimination, and anti-oppression practices from a cultural perspective.

In a session with her, you’ll notice that she is warm, empathic, compassionate, and confident in understanding and helping clients without judging them while de-stigmatizing their mental health. Maggie’s passion is to help clients heal and become more resilient.

In a session with Maggie you will discover your hidden strength, energy and creativity. Maggie’s therapeutic practice will approaches counselling from a curiosity and psychodynamic lens and the client-centred person theory, inviting clients to navigate their emotional experiences healthily and openly.

Maggie can provide counselling in English and Spanish.

Maggie’s rate is $120+hst for a 50 minute session (Pay What You Can program available!)
