Before your first session, you will be required to fill out an intake and sign a consent form to start psychotherapy services. You will then meet your therapist and go over your intake form with her/him and at this time your therapist will get to know you and your situation a bit better.
During this time you will be able to ask questions and elaborate on the responses you gave in your intake. The therapist will then create a treatment plan that works for you.

Many people wonder if their concerns are “serious enough” for therapy. The truth is, you don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from speaking with a therapist.
You may consider therapy if you are experiencing:
Ongoing anxiety, stress, or feeling overwhelmed
Persistent sadness, low mood, or loss of motivation
Relationship or family conflicts
Difficulty coping with life transitions
Trauma or unresolved past experiences
Changes in sleep, appetite, or concentration
Feeling stuck, lost, or unsure about next steps in life
Therapy is not only for mental health disorders — it can also support personal growth, emotional regulation, confidence, and healthier relationships.
If your thoughts, emotions, or behaviours are interfering with your daily life, work, school, or relationships, it may be helpful to speak with a licensed therapist.
Our clinics in Vaughan, Toronto, and Mississauga provide professional, compassionate therapy for individuals, couples, and families. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, we’re happy to help you explore your options and determine the best next step.
