It has brought a wealth of opportunity to the community we serve in terms of mental health well-being and awareness, through the variety of services they have provided us. The subsidized counselling, as well as the drop-in counselling, have been one of the best things to happen for the youth we support. Within our community, there are many cultures that stereotype and hold reservations towards therapy. The drop-in counselling was a great way for us to combat against this stigma in the community of Jane and Finch, as it allowed for people to attend sessions without the need for commitment in terms of time and finances.

It was presented in a way that allowed for people who had no idea what the therapeutic process looked like to try it, as well as for those who needed mental support in their lives.

For those who desired to continue on with counselling, they were able to direct them to their pay-what-you-can program. Their services were very flexible, tailoring to the circumstances, struggles, and situations the community faced. Many individuals experience significant difficulties and challenges, and having access to proper professional support has made a real difference in their lives.

We have witnessed firsthand the positive impact—improved coping skills, increased confidence, and renewed hope for the future. We are truly grateful for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to supporting our youth and our community as a whole.
