Danielle is currently a Master’s student at Yorkville University, working to complete my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). She is learning to develop, enhance and hone my craft to best suit her clients needs. She is trained and continually training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Danielle’s goal is to develop a lasting relationship with their clients, where they can work together to continually strengthen your relationship, develop and maintain individualized goals. Experiences throughout life can be challenging, but that is where she believes in how a compassionate, empathetic, non- judgmental hand can be beneficial. Therapy and counselling is not a one-size fits all method, that is where Danielle believes that helping her clients to tailor sessions to what works best for them, is vital. As a former athlete of 20+ years, she has experienced her own ups and downs, hardships and successes and through her own mental health journey, found peace in therapy. Through Danielle’s own experiences with therapy, she found that this is something she has wanted to do for others. She has always wanted to help others find their success and peace on their mental health journey.
