Cara is an empathetic, compassionate, and sympathetic individual with a passion for promoting mental health and well-being. Working from a person-centered and integrative approach to therapy, Cara strives to incorporate and draw on techniques from various modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based approaches to best suit your needs and goals.

Cara’s areas of focus include helping all individuals aged 13 years and older experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship struggles, identity struggles, and career/school issues. Cara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.  

Seeking out therapy can be scary and intimidating. However, Cara places a high value on building a positive therapeutic alliance and strives to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for her clients to discuss and better understand their feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Cara is determined to help you recognize and develop your positive skill sets, strengths, and coping strategies, in turn helping you reach your therapeutic goals.

Cara’s rate is $175 for a 50-minute individual session and $120 for a 30-minute neurofeedback session. Offers services at our Vaughan location and virtually.
