Irem is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a bilingual Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Psychology from Glendon College, York University, and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Irem believes therapy is a collaborative process and tailors each session to reflect the unique needs, values, and strengths of the individual.
Irem has a special interest in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, and anger management. She fosters a supportive environment where clients can reflect, feel heard, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Rooted in empathy and cultural sensitivity, Irem views each client as the expert in their own life and works alongside them to foster resilience, growth, and self-compassion.
Fluent in Turkish, Irem is able to offer her services to a broader range of individuals.
Irem’s rate is $120 for a 50 minute individual session.
