Martina (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology, a Master of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Social Work.

Martina’s main approach is Relational Psychodynamic Therapy. Martina’s goal within each session is to create a space where the client can feel heard, understood, engaged, and supported. To attend to the unique and individual needs of each client, Martina also integrates aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), as well as compassion and mindfulness-based approaches into her practice.

Martina also incorporates a feminist and intersectional lens into her practice. This means exploring the unique social and cultural identities, values, and experiences of each client. And how trauma, violence, and oppression may have impacted their health and wellness. Her practice is also trauma informed, neuro-affirming, and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusive.

Martina works with Individuals including Adolescents and Adults struggling with anxiety, attachment, boundaries, depression, emotional regulation, identity, inner child work, neurodivergent diagnosis (Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism etc.), relationship issues, self-esteem, sexuality, sexual health, trauma, and women’ struggles. Living with depression and AuDHD herself, Martina has firsthand experience of the transformative possibilities of therapy.

Martina’s rate for 50 min sessions is $165. Offers services at our Vaughan location and virtually.
