Simone Lutchmedial is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, drawing from a deep background in crisis prevention and community support helping adults, youth, and children navigate complex trauma and major life transitions.

Simone steps in when everyday coping mechanisms break down, supporting adults, youth, and children who are facing trauma, buckling under invisible pressure, heavy family expectations, and relentless internal demands. Parents also turn to Simone when they realize a child’s sudden outbursts or quiet withdrawal signal something much deeper than a passing phase, offering a safe and steady anchor to help carry a little less of that weight.

Moving far past surface-level fixes, therapy here focuses on uncovering what is truly happening beneath the surface. Whether we are working with the parts of you as an adult, those protective, exhausted, or overwhelmed internal pieces, or helping a child and youth navigate their inner world, we meet those parts with profound compassion. For adults, this involves a thoughtful blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to untangle long-standing patterns and create much-needed room to breathe.

For children and youth, therapy with Simone meets them right where they are. Through creative arts, play, and other engaging, age-appropriate tools, they are given a natural language to make sense of what is happening inside. In this safe space, they can untangle confusing experiences, explore big and overwhelming feelings at their own pace, and build the confidence to grow through life’s challenges.
