Karim brings a background in psychology, with a concentration in counselling and mental health, alongside education and training in business. His experience includes academic research, leadership roles, and partnership-focused work that bridges psychological insight with organizational and community needs.

Through direct exposure to schools, organizations, community initiatives, and corporate environments, Karim has seen the significant impact that integrated mental health support can have on culture, engagement, and long-term outcomes. These experiences have shaped his approach to outreach and collaboration, emphasizing practical implementation, alignment with organizational goals, and sustainable impact rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.

In his role, Karim is motivated by helping institutions recognize and adopt meaningful approaches to mental well-being that are both realistic and scalable. He values partnerships built on clarity, shared responsibility, and long-term thinking, and is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen individuals while enhancing the systems they are part of.

Claudia has experience in office management, customer service, scheduling, hiring and engaging staff in various settings including health care fields. She enjoys working in diverse, supportive and focused environments, using her organizational skills to streamline processes. Claudia believes that everyone can benefit from mental health support at any stage in life, and that our mental well being is just one aspect of our overall health.

Stephanie graduated from York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Society. She has a background working with individuals in a variety of settings including schools, long term care homes, and residential treatment facilities. It was through experiencing personal challenges that she developed an interest in mental health and wellness. She understands the importance of advocating on behalf of individuals to be able to access effective mental health treatment. Being part of an influential team is something Stephanie highly values. She plans to further her education so that she can provide counselling services and mental health support to individuals in the future.

Alexandra is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University. With a passion for mental health and helping individuals achieve emotional well-being she wants to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, supporting therapists, and assisting with client care. With a strong academic foundation and volunteer experience working with women and those in vulnerable sectors it has allowed her further her understanding of mental health and advocate for the importance of it. She is excited about advancing her career in psychology and becoming a psychotherapist. 

Michaela is currently a grade 11 student at St.Jean de Brebeuf high school.  She is taking part in her school’s cooperative education program by working at the clinic. She is very passionate about mental health and has a deep interest in digital marketing, photography and film.  In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at the community center, where she develops her project management, communication and leadership skills.  She also enjoys making jewellery and taking pictures.  She demonstrates enthusiasm for advancing her knowledge and skills within the field of digital media.

Agrin is a third-year student at York University, pursuing a double major in Psychology and Biomedical Science. She chose to combine these fields to better understand the complex connection between the brain, body, and behavior, and to approach mental health with both scientific insight and compassion. Agrin believes in viewing each person as a whole, acknowledging their emotional, social, cultural, and individual experiences. With plans to pursue graduate studies in Clinical Psychology, she is dedicated to making mental health care more accessible, empathetic, and human-centered.

Faiza is a dedicated HR professional with over 10 years of experience in human resources management, specializing in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. As an HR Manager, she has successfully led teams to implement innovative HR strategies that enhance workplace culture and promote employee satisfaction. With a passion for working with people, Faiza believes that strong relationships are the key to a thriving workplace. She excels in creating inclusive environments where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best. Faiza is known for her hands-on approach, engaging with employees at all levels to understand their needs and concerns. Throughout her career, Faiza has been instrumental in developing training programs, managing performance evaluations, and driving initiatives that support diversity and inclusion within the organization. She holds a degree in Law and is continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow within the ever-evolving landscape of human resources.

Alessia is a fourth-year student in Speech and Language Sciences at York University. She has a strong interest in communication and client-centred care and enjoys gaining hands-on experience in clinical settings while supporting clinicians, clients, and families. Through her work in speech clinics, university health programs, and pediatric care environments, Alessia has developed a calm, organized, and compassionate approach to clinical coordination. She values creating a welcoming and well-structured clinic experience and finds meaning in supporting mental health and allied healthcare teams, as she continues to build experience toward a future career in speech-language pathology.
